During the procedure, one of our nurse practitioners will inject Juvéderm gel into your skin. Injections take about 15 minutes to an hour, depending on how many areas you are having treated. Since Juvéderm contains lidocaine, a localized pain reliever, the procedure is usually very comfortable and painless. Following the treatment, most clients notice results instantly, which can last from six months up to a year.
Treatment is safe and there is no recovery period involved. Side effects are usually minimal but can include temporary redness, swelling, or bruising, which should subside quickly. We do not recommend Juvéderm to clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
